I actually bought these for training a puppy but a friend admired them and ended up using them for their baby, too. I even use them as sofa covers. They are pretty in a tasteful, low-key way, and don’t look at all like changing pads, so they have many uses. Machine washable, soft and comfortable.These are so soft and they work. I have them under a waterproof mattress protector for extra protection and nothing is going to touch that mattress. I would put this in my childs crip or on a car seat if you have animals. They are easy to clean and overall good investment.My mother is disabled and mostly bedridden, she also uses an electric wheelchair- we struggled to find a product without plastic base as it caused sweating and was too hot to sleep on the disposable pads - these are fantastic have purchased two dozen over the last two years for her. she can sleep on them she had an issue with sores on her legs from chemo that were weeping and we used these in her bed and chair under her legs to control that fluid as well - it wicked it away nicely between bandage changes or when we just wanted to let them air out at night -no stickingThe underpads (bought four) are very soft (had other brands to make a comparison). It makes 1) no sound when my dog walks onto it on his bed, 2) it does not bunch up or 3) move around. Test. i poured approximate amount of water onto pad and it was absorbed by 30% of pad in 5 mins, but the poured-on part remained damp to the touch. It would be great if my dog remains dry (no idea if there is such a product) but it is better than plastic lined pads. My priority is the dog comfort, not the dog's bedding (remains dry). i toss the pad in the doggy washing machine w his bed linen, works fine.It is soft and absorbing.Because of my sensitive skin in newborn I have been on the hunt for 100% cotton products. I appreciate this being 100% cotton in life cotton and like to point that out in all my reviews. I would recommend this product.Needing a pad due to loved one with dementia. We share the bed and I can't have something that makes me hot. His side of the bed has extra pads, but I needed a pad just in case he wants to sleep on my side. I purchased 2 of the 27X35. So far very happy. Washed and dried well. Slight curl on the edge, but lays flat with the weight of a sheet. Would be great if there was a large size for a queen bed. You need to market these outside of the baby section! I've struggled to find a product that I can sleep on as well and that breathes like these pads.
